Who We Are
Serving housing co-ops in British Columbia since 1984
Established in 1984 and a part of the Co-operative Housing Federation of BC Group of Social Enterprises, COHO Management Services Society is a non-profit property management company with over forty years of experience working with housing co-operatives.
Our staff are experts in the unique needs of housing co-operatives, and work in partnership with co-op members and their boards to support thriving co-operative housing communities.
Services include administration, full-service accounting, corporate compliance, property maintenance, and inspections. We offer both individual services and comprehensive full-service packages, assuring that your co-op can find the level of support that best suits your community.
We focus on building long-term relationships with our clients, which allows us to look beyond the day-to-day needs of maintenance and administration. Our team has unparalleled knowledge in subsidies and governmental programs available to co-ops and can guide you through the tough decisions every co-op board must make. Staff receive on-going training, and our depth of experience allows for robust back-up, cross-training, and succession planning – meaning that you’re supported by an entire team that stands behind your in-person representatives.

COHO’s board of directors are all members of housing co-operatives. Like many others, they also benefit from our services. They are people who live and work towards improving co-operative housing management services, both internally and externally.
